El canTo Del loCooo!

         El canto del loco is a Spanish pop rock band. They were formed in 1994, in Cristina Rota drama school. The members of the band are Dani Martín (the vocal) , David Otero (guitar and chorus), Chema Ruiz (bass) and finally Jandro Velázquez (drums). The name of the band comes because both of the members who formed the band like “El canto del gallo” song a lot. And they decided to call their band El canto del loco because of that. The band has had a lot of problems because the critics don’t like the name. The lyrics are written by all of them.

 

        After a year, their first album was released by the Ariola discography. But their second album was the most popular one and they were in the hits for many weeks. It has sold more than fifteen million copies. They have been awarded many prizes, among them The best band in 2006 and the best tour, in the same year too. In 2002 they were nominated for seven MTV music awards. 

 

        Some of their best songs are “Puede ser”, “Zapatillas”, “ Ya nada volverá a ser como antes” and “Vuelve”.

 

        I like al lot this band, in fact is my favourite band. The fist time that I heard I thought that it was a bit boring but when I download one song of their first album I started liking a lot. And now this is the band that I like the most. I like their lyrics because they have sense, and most of them are romantic and I prefer this theme than others. 

 

Las cosas han cambiado

     Hace unos años, sobre todo tras la entrada del nuevo siglo, se produjeron muchos cambios y mejoras. Una de las mejoras más destacadas es el avance tecnológico.

     La tecnología ha cambiado muchos aspectos de nuestras vidas. Y es que ahora no somos capaces de hacer una simple acción sin utilizar algún tipo de la nueva tecnología. Hay que admitir que ahora todo es mucho más fácil pero también tiene sus desventajas. Por ejemplo, hay muchas personas que no saben manejar muchos de los aparatos que hoy en día es necesario saber utilizar, como el cajero o los móviles. Y por otra parte pienso, que estamos perdiendo muchas habilidades que antes teníamos. Un claro ejemplo es el de la capacidad de relacionarse, ahora la gente no es capaz de hablar a la cara, utilizan el Chat como medio de comunicación. Y la gente se escuda detrás de la pantalla del ordenador, y aprovechan a inventar la personalidad que siempre les hubiera gustado tener, y así engañan a la gente y a ellos mismos. Otro de los muchos problemas que esta generando afecta a los jóvenes, con los sms estamos perdiendo vocabulario y cometemos muchas faltas de ortografía. Y si seguimos así se nos olvidará escribir.

     Por eso pienso que la tecnología ha hecho que avancemos mucho pero hay que saber cómo utilizarla y nunca excederse. Y a pesar de las pegas que he escrito antes no quiere decir que no lo considere unos de los mejores progresos de la humanidad.
